Opening Ceremony of CLC on 30 April 2010
The Opening Ceremony of the Central-Wan Chai Bypass and Island Eastern Corridor Link Community Liaison Centre (CLC) at Oil Street of North Point was successfully held on 30 April 2010. The Ceremony was officiated by Mr. C.S. Wai, ex-Director of Highways and other 6 honourable guests from District Council, the Consultants and the Contractors, and attended by over 100 local public. The set up of CLC can provide a direct and convenient platform between the public and Highways Department for communication over the Project. This Centre is the first community liaison centre set up by Highways Department for a large-scale road project.
