CONTRACT PACKAGING
 
Package V(2) Tunnel (Slip Road 8 Section) Contract
 
  • The works in this package mainly comprise:
    • Construction of approximately 350m long cut-and-cover tunnel under CBTS;
    • Construction of approximately 150m long cut-and-cover tunnel under existing Victoria Park Road;
    • Reinstatement of existing RHKYC facilities including floating pontoon and mooring spaces/area;
    • Construction of Slip Road 8 approach road and modification to the existing Hing Fat Street and ancillary junctions;
    • Civil works provisions for tunnel Electrical & Mechanical and Traffic Control and Surveillance System works;
    • Reprovisioning of the bowling green and associated facilities in Victoria Park; and
    • Associated drainage and sewerage works.
  • This contract is expected to commence in the 2nd quarter of 2013 for completion in early 2017.
